Cancellation Policy for Martical.com
Last updated: August 10, 2025
This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel services purchased from Martical.com (“Martical,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and what happens to billing and data after cancellation. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy.
-
Scope
This policy applies to all services, including:
-
Shared Hosting, Cloud Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Email Hosting
-
Cloud VPS, Storage VPS, VDS, Dedicated Servers
-
Domain Names and related services
-
Website Security services
-
Add-ons, licenses, IPs, backups, and professional services
-
How to cancel
-
Client Area: Submit a cancellation request from your Martical.com client area for the specific service. Choose “Immediate” or “End of Billing Period.”
-
Required details: Include service ID, desired cancellation date, and confirm you have secured any needed backups.
-
Verification: For security, we may require ticket confirmation from the account owner or additional verification.
-
Timing options
-
Immediate cancellation: Service is terminated as soon as processed. Data and configurations may be deleted and cannot be recovered.
-
End-of-term cancellation: Service remains active until the end of the current paid billing cycle, then terminates automatically.
-
Renewal and auto-renewals
-
Disable auto-renew: You may turn off auto-renew for a service at any time in the client area to stop future renewals.
-
Renewal cutoff: To avoid renewal charges, submit cancellation or disable auto-renew at least 24–72 hours before the renewal date (or earlier if your payment method processes early). Some registries/processors may pre-authorize or capture funds before the exact renewal timestamp.
-
Billing effects
-
Recurring services: After cancellation takes effect, recurring billing for that service stops. Charges already invoiced for the current term remain due unless a refund is approved under our Refund Policy.
-
One-time fees: Setup, migration, license, IP, and professional services fees remain payable and are non-refundable.
-
Overage/usage: Any metered or overage charges incurred before cancellation will be billed as applicable.
-
Refunds
-
Eligible: Only Shared Hosting and Cloud Hosting are eligible for a refund if requested within 7 calendar days of purchase/activation per our Refund Policy.
-
Not eligible: All other products and services are non-refundable, including Reseller Hosting, Email Hosting, Cloud VPS, Storage VPS, VDS, Dedicated Servers, Domain Names, Website Security services, add-ons, licenses, setup/migration fees, taxes, and payment processing fees.
-
Method and timing: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days, subject to your bank or provider.
-
Domains
-
No cancellation refunds: Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and redemptions are final and non-refundable.
-
Auto-renew control: You may disable domain auto-renew in the client area to prevent future renewals. Ensure you do this before the renewal cutoff.
-
Expiry and transfer: After expiry, domains may enter grace/redemption with additional fees. If you intend to transfer, initiate well before expiry and ensure the domain is unlocked and WHOIS data is accurate.
-
Data retention and deletion
-
Immediate cancellations: Data may be deleted upon processing. We do not guarantee recovery.
-
End-of-term cancellations: Data is deleted upon termination at end of term.
-
Backups: You are responsible for maintaining independent backups. Any backups we may keep are for operational purposes only and are not guaranteed for restoration.
-
Legal holds: We may retain limited records as required by law, billing, security, or dispute resolution.
-
Managed services and migrations
-
If you request our assistance for migration or decommissioning, standard hourly or fixed fees may apply and are non-refundable.
-
Access: You must provide necessary credentials and authorize changes. Delays in access can affect timelines.
-
Suspensions and terminations by Martical
-
For non-payment, abuse, or policy violations, we may suspend or terminate services. Suspended/terminated services for cause are not eligible for refunds.
-
We may require remediation steps or payment of outstanding balances before reactivation, where applicable.
-
Reactivation
-
If a service is cancelled or expires, reactivation may not be possible or may require provisioning as a new service at then-current pricing and availability. IPs, data, and configurations are not guaranteed to be retained.
-
